About Ameer Kiani

Ameer J. Kiani, a forensic psychology graduate and cultural symbolism writer, smiling with arms crossed in a white ribbed sweater against a dark brick wall.

I am a forensic psychology graduate and cultural symbolism writer based in Washington. I explore how mind, story and culture shape each other. My work draws from psychology, mythology and cosmology to understand how people create meaning from their experiences. I write essays, poems and stories that explore transformation, identity and symbolic meaning.

Focus and background

I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Culture Literature and the Arts and in Global Studies at the University of Washington Bothell. I am now pursuing a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology. My background includes literature, cultural studies, statistics and lived experience across very different social worlds from small town Michigan to Dubai and Islamabad to Seattle.

Interests and goals

I am interested in how symbols, archetypes and narratives guide real decisions in mental health, law and everyday life. I want to write books, publish essays and develop courses that connect forensic psychology with myth and cultural analysis. My long term goal is to build work that helps people see the deeper patterns behind identity, behavior and belief.
